OVERVIEW
Beatrice Rana is an Italian pianist who gained international recognition after winning the silver medal at the Van Cliburn International Piano Competition and the first prize at the 2011 Montreal International Piano Competition. She has performed with major orchestras and is known for her technical skills and expressive performances. An exclusive Warner Classics artist, Rana released her debut album in 2015, featuring Prokofiev’s Piano Concerto No. 2 and Tchaikovsky’s Piano Concerto No. 1. Her 2017 recording of Bach’s “Goldberg Variations” debuted at No. 1 on the U.K. Classical Charts and earned numerous accolades, including Gramophone’s Young Artist of the Year. Rana’s 2019 album, featuring Stravinsky and Ravel, received widespread praise and solidified her growing reputation in classical music.
