OVERVIEW
Belgian harpist Anneleen Lenaerts has been the principal harpist of the Vienna Philharmonic since 2010. In addition to her orchestral career, she has performed as a soloist with ensembles such as the Bavarian Radio Symphony Orchestra, the Mozarteum Orchestra, and the Brussels Philharmonic. Her performances have taken her to major venues, including Carnegie Hall, Wigmore Hall, and the Berlin Philharmonie.
Lenaerts has won numerous awards in international harp competitions and has an extensive discography, including recordings for Warner Classics. She also teaches at the University of Maastricht and the Aspen Music Festival.
