The winners of the Oper! Awards were announced this Friday during a ceremony at La Monnaie / De Munt in Brussels, which was itself honoured as best opera house.
The Oper! Awards, Germany’s international opera prize, celebrate the world’s most outstanding artists and creatives working on and behind the stage. A jury of music journalists selects winners across 20 categories, recognising excellence in performance, direction, stage design, and more.

The best conductor award was given to Pablo Heras-Casado, and the top singing honours went to Klaus Florian Vogt (best male singer) and Corinne Winters (best female singer).
