The rising cellist Anastasia Kobekina is the protagonist of a documentary series produced by the German network ARD. Over more than a year, a film crew followed the young musician on her path toward the international career she had always dreamed of.
The result is Now or Never! – a 1.5-year journey captured in a 4-part series now available on ARD Mediathek.
Anastasia Kobekina, born in Russia, and known for her expressive performances, made her record debut with Venice. She has since performed in various prestigious venues, continuing to build her international presence in classical music.
As ARD states on its website: “The classical music business is tough. Every day, tens of thousands of newcomers upload hundreds of thousands of pieces of music. Yet, Anastasia shines – despite it all.”
