Francesca Dego, one of today’s most compelling violinists, offers an intimate solo recital live from ConcertLab in Utrecht. The program spans centuries and styles: from Bach’s monumental Chaconne to Paganini’s dazzling 24th Caprice, from the folk-inspired lyricism of Grażyna Bacewicz to Carlo Boccadoro’s Come d’autunno, written for Dego in 2019 and inspired by Dante and Ungaretti.
The concert also marks a special occasion: Dego will perform on the legendary Falmouth ex-Kavakos Stradivarius (1692), made available courtesy of J & A Beare. In her own words, she describes the solo recital as “the most direct and intimate dialogue one can have with the audience.”
With her artistry celebrated across Europe and North America — and as an exclusive artist with Chandos Records — Francesca Dego continues to balance tradition and innovation in every performance.
🎥 The recital is streamed free on YouTube, offering a rare chance to experience her artistry in high definition from anywhere in the world.
